She’s alone on the stage…
Dancing for money…
A cheap black wig…
With eyes like honey…
Attracting his gaze…
Like pollen does a bee…
She’s sucking him in…
Reinforcing his fantasy…
Look but don’t touch…
Her body is sanctified…
As she twists and turns…
She leaves him mesmerised…
Dancing to the beat…
In a dimly lit room…
She loves the attention…
He longs for a bedroom…
Where he’d tie her down…
And fulfil all his dreams…
Taking masterful control…
Making her moan and scream…
Just like in the movies…
That he watches all alone…
Where anything can happen…
Right there in his own home…
Watching the kind of women…
Who would never say no…
Those fantasy fallen angels…
Who’ve discarded their halo…
And they beg to be taken…
Desperate to please their man…
So submissive and willing…
Under his strong command…
And as the dancing continues…
The beat gets much faster…
The lust inside him rises…
The beast becoming the master…
And with the seed now planted…
He slowly leaves the room…
Knows she’ll get what’s coming…
In the shadow of the blue moon…

Wow!! What more can I say?
Thank you for your kind words Cinammon! Cheers J
Sadly, this lovely classic is about a stalker…….
It certainly is Helen and amazing song at that – Cheers J
I was with it until the last line. Well-said, and sadly too common.
Thanks Abbie and so very true – Cheers J
Oh that’s so spooky and sinister.
Thanks Jack – you know I like to twist things! Cheers J
I grew up with this song and we obviously had no idea what it was really about. We can still appreciate it for its musical style and transporting us back to more innocent(if naive) time of our younger days.
Thanks Helen – there are so many childhood songs, innocent to our ears, but dark undertones that only make sense as we get older ! Cheers J
