Guest Poet Week – Number 4
To celebrate this blogs 2nd anniversary, I am honouring other people’s work with a week of Guest Poets.
The Guest Poet feature on this blog has been tremendously successful and I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every poet who has taken the time to partake.
My fourth Guest Poet is no stranger to these pages, so please welcome back Nathan!
You can read more of Nathan’s words here: https://randompoemswithnohome.wordpress.com/
Going forward, the Guest Poet slots will still be available, so if you want to join in, please email your words to me at eyewillnotcry@hotmail.co.uk
Cheers
Something about time
in fractured seconds existing
solely between a wizardry
of images and scenes
seems to coerce away
the silent decayed anchor
of a bewildering bewitching
exclusive melancholy of dreams.
Drapes of a dark coloured mane
illuminate highlights defined
beneath the shadows
to form rich uniquely threaded
seeds toward something anew
rolling across a carpet
designed by tender tenured steps
of another day built upon
the promise of altered futures.
Bonds that form between lovers
or the strength of family
embrace the senses with
the allure of charm and hope…
