Guest Poet Week – Number 2
To celebrate this blogs 2nd anniversary, I am honouring other people’s work with a week of Guest Poets.
The Guest Poet feature on this blog has been tremendously successful and I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every poet who has taken the time to partake.
My second Guest Poet this week is our sexy friend Sal!
You can read more of Sal’s work here – but beware, it’s hot stuff!

Going forward, the Guest Poet slots will still be available, so if you want to join in, please email your words to me at eyewillnotcry@hotmail.co.uk
Cheers
The beast and his harlot.
Rose petals sprinkled
Over grey silk
Tempting the maiden
In lace white as milk
Slowly approaching
Mind unaware
Trapped in enchantment
Unbroken by prayer
All was lost
She’d never be well
Many had tried
To break this spell
Her soul had been pure
Until she had sipped
From the glass at his altar
Blood red covered lips
Now she was chosen
His bride to be
His minions danced
In the shadows with glee
So she approached
His altar of lust
Lost in her mind
No trace of mistrust
Appearing before her
She saw not the beast
Just a man of perfection
Wishing to feast
Untouched by man
And they never would
The beast would break
Her innocence with blood
Softly he whispered
Sinful desires
Igniting the sparks
Of her internal fires
He had sensed true
The angel before him
Although so pure
Held flames of sin
As she lay in the petals
He heard her moan
On the bed not just petals
But thorns he had thrown
Drops of her life force
Dripped on the grey
Awakening his hunger
Sweetening his prey
The purest of blood
He cries as he spilled
Ripped through the air
As fears were fulfilled
Awakened she screamed
As she saw his face
Now the beast’s bride
She knew her fate
Her soul ripped away
Left forlorn and tattered
Drifting on air
Like rose petals scattered
Taking her blood
Now flowing scarlet
The beast took an angel
And made her his harlot
