So, you didn’t make it…
Welcome to Hell…
Make yourself comfortable…
This is your own private cell…
Wrap this round your neck…
You’ve earned this chain…
A link for each of your sins…
You’ll experience them again…
One by One by One…
In technicoloured glory…
Each and every mistake…
In your sad, twisted story…
Because you never listened…
Never heeded the warnings…
You did not believe…
Just partied on till morning…
Thinking you were clever…
That you wouldn’t pay the price…
You did what you wanted…
Without any kind of sacrifice…
Doing it your own way…
And tarnishing your soul…
Did you think you were wise…
That you were in control…
And now you are here…
Beginning to perspire…
There’s no rest for the wicked…
As you burn in Hell’s fire…
Whilst the Demons dance…
To the Devil’s own groove…
They’re your eternal jailers…
Who’ll watch your every move…
As you are now damned…
For the rest of eternity…
And you will be broken…
You’ll be forced to your knees…
Living in Satan’s palace…
And getting sliced by his knife…
He’ll make you plead to go back…
But it’s to late to change your life…

Oooh a counter poem! Love it! This one is full of sneers – wonderful poem!
Couldn’t decided so tried to write both sides – was interesting to do 2 perspectives on the same song! Cheers J
Like both, J, but of course paradise one better. 🙂 song not playing for me.
Of course – though that one is rather tongue in cheek 😉 – re song – where in the world are you? Cheers J
Still superb…! Hey, old friend 🙂
Hello Emma – thank you and Happy New Year – I trust you are well – Cheers J
yes – Happy New Year to ya’ll- I’m happy & that’s good enough… ❤
Superb poetry, I like the dual idea.
Thank you Ruby – Cheers J
This is excellent…. heaven or hell? It shouldn’t be a difficult choice.
Suppose – but Hell seems to have a bit more of an edge to it 😉 – Cheers J
Wow. Beautifully woven words that paint a passionate tapestry of darkness and mental torment. You are very gifted with painting with your words.
