I am thrilled to welcome new guest poet Ethel, who also kindly nominated me for an award:
http://thedarkestraven.wordpress.com/2014/10/20/one-lovely-blog-award/
As you may know, I am no good at following the rules, but nevertheless, I am always humbled to receive and be thought about for such awards.
Please take time to check out Ethel’s amazing work and I hope you enjoy her submission as much as I did!
Cheers J
Muse
Where did you go?
I seek of you
Until the end of the earth
I moved mountains
Parted the ocean
Soared the sky
And flipped the ground
But you’re nowhere to be found
Please come back to me
You are my muse
Without you
My words is just a
Dead language
Forgotten and never spoken
A history without
Its glory
My hands are trembling
I can’t grip my pen
The ink is just dripping
Wasted and exhausted
From waiting until the
Next sentence
I can’t move my hands and
I’m running out of ink
Without you
I just keep on rambling
I can’t form any script
I’m just a sad musing gaze
Trampled on the pave
So come back to me
You are my muse and
You’re all I need
To keep on writing
Just as a whipping top
I need your string
To keep on spinning
In this holy ground

Thank you so much J I really appreciate it. This is very special to me because of the inspiration behind this poem eventhough I know he will never read this.
