Senses silently screaming… It feels like I am dreaming… Look away for simple reason… Every touch from you is treason… Nobody can ever know… Code of honour we bestow… Eye… Fly… Low…
Take something less horrifying please, or no one will dare to visit your blog anymore, haha ^^
Hmmm – no ideas as yet – needs to be in keeping with theme and words though ! Cheers J
J,
The words are so, so, so good, loved the pairing of Simon and Garfunkel’s the, “The Sound of Silence”, let’s not forget the image, that is very cool as well (infinite screaming). So much in life is left unsaid…“SILENCE”, clever, perfect, beautiful presentation. Ah, I see you have confirmed that you are super-duper-smart, wickedly ingenious. Questions, do you think we should just eat mouthfuls of salt? With silence screaming, do we need to speak?
Hey Pepper – the answer to your questions is a resounding yes, followed by a spoonful of sugar of course – not sure about the super duper smart bit mind you 😉 – Cheers J
I’m old enough to have owned both the Wednesday Morning and the Sounds of Silence LPs. This simpler version is vastly superior. The singing, both lead and harmony, are wonderful and unobstructed by the overdubbed nonsense of the latter version.
Thank you for the insight – are you referring to the version from The Graduate being the worse of the versions? Have to confess to loving a few songs for these, but not a fan on the level you clearly are, so happy that I seem to have chosen the better version! Cheers J
Reblogged this on stgreenie.
Thanks for the re:blog – much appreciated! Cheers J
Thank you for the post…Hello nostalgia! The song brings back a lot of memories with it…. 🙂 Love the words you have written to go with it. Thanks!
Thank you for your comment and kind words! Cheers J
Lovely short poem, J! The image above is kind of creepy though. It’s like a never-ending scream or something like ‘scream-ception’ 😉
Amazing isn’t it – wish I was able to create art like this – still need an EYE WILL NOT CRY design! Cheers J
