He won’t be the first…
And will not be the last…
To have his heart broken…
Shattered just like glass…
Fooled by the lightning…
That flashed in her eyes…
The danger and excitement…
Yet deceived by her lies…
The words of seduction…
That nestled inside his ear…
And made him pine for her…
When she wasn’t near…
He won’t be the last…
To fall for her charms…
Leaving him so blinded…
Causing so much harm…
Ripping him into pieces…
As he fell deeper in love…
Thinking she was his Princess…
Fitting like hand in glove…
Caught up in the moment…
His heart franticly beating…
But she took him for granted…
And was already cheating…
Both on herself and on him…
As she kept looking for fun…
He was not enough for her…
He could never be the one…
Who would tie her down…
Make her heart surrender…
Becoming so soft and gentle…
So loving and so tender…
It was never her style…
And not ever on the cards…
As she craved his attention…
But then coldly discards…
When it got too much…
Or required any emotion…
And he won’t be the last…
To have his heart fooled,
then broken…

Nice to see you back again – haven’t seen you pop up in my reader – have you released any of the new stuff yet? Cheers J
No, haven’t finished it yet… Might give it some thought tonight again. Not really liking how it is right now, but not sure how to change it either 😉
Wonderful poem “J” Beautiful song choice and I love the happy ending in Notting Hill
Anna says she’s “just a Girl, standing in front of a Boy, asking him to love her”
thankfully William realises what a “daft prick” he was and well…..happily ever after for this Boy and Girl
Cheers
just catching up
Thank you – If only life was like the movies – Cheers J
thought of you today “J” re:movies…
You could play the role of Star Lord. His earthly connection is his beloved Walkman to play his 70’s and 80’s music
Keep Smiling 😉
