It was a complicated life…
A complex web of white lies…
She wore multicolored masks…
As she hid in her disguise…
Looking for something special…
But she wasn’t sure what…
Yet forever wanting more…
Never happy with what she’d got…
With a head that wasn’t thinking…
And a heart that had malfunctioned…
She tossed and turned in vicious circles…
Surrounded by such dysfunction…
Stranded in the stratosphere…
All her promises disregarded…
Running away to another world…
Trying to finish what she started…
She waved the wand to ignite…
Hoping as she wove the spell…
That it would drive him crazy…
And place him in a love-struck cell…
She knew that he would catch it…
But still set fire to his soul…
Pushing him down a narrow path…
That sent him out of control…
It infused and it infected…
Like a tattoo etched on his skull…
And he couldn’t hold back…
From her invisible sexual pull…
Falling headlong for her charms…
Captivated by her dark magic…
She tormented his weak soul…
Having effects so very tragic…
As it simply got too much…
He couldn’t take it anymore…
Lying Black, White and dead…
After he hit the concreate floor…
Now she holds on to every star…
Whilst burning in the sun’s rays…
As only in dreams can they dance…
Whilst her life grows darker by the day…

Alternate version of co-write between myself and the talented Cate…
1973 – I wrote my first short novel – and you wrote a beautiful poem… quite a year!
It was a very good year! Thanks for taking the time to stop by and comment! Cheers J

IS THIS FALLING…OUT OF LOVE?
Thanks for the re:blog Jonathan – are you asking me the question or is this your interpritation – Cheers J
I think it is my tentative interpretation…am I anywhere near it?
I love to see what others make of my work, this one is slightly different in that it is a version of a co-write (See the previous post) – there are fragments of a few threads in this one across the two versions – its not limited to falling out of love, but in love too amongst others – Cheers J
Thanks for your view of it…!
Just as equally amazing as the other version! 😉
I like both – but you know I like it when I can kill someone off – just my twisted thought process 😉 Cheers J
And you know I love your work because of that twisted mind of yours 😉
Reblogged this on Fearless//.
Thanks for the reblog! Cheers J
Love this one as well! Well done to you both
Hugs
Sal xx
I prefer this version 🙂 – Cheers J
I love this, beautifully tragic.
