“Some dance to remember, some dance to forget”…

Their strange story began…
As a little white lie…

And began to expand…
When no one asked why…

Or took time to notice…
What was going on…

The clues were ignored…
Despite being so strong…

It started with distraction…
In the cold Black shadows…

On a dark rainy night…
Where nobody ever goes…

Unseen by the masses…
And hidden from sight…

A sweet stolen moment…
So wrong, it was right…

And it created a saga…
That defied all belief…

The beast and the beauty…
Lost souls finding relief…

Embarking on a journey…
Of pure fantasy fiction…

Making it up as they went…
Unsure of the direction…

That they should travel…
Or which road to take…

But at the same time…
It felt like no mistake…

As the more they tasted…
Sexual forbidden pleasure…

The more they uncovered…
Succulent hidden treasures…

Dancing through darkness…
And dimly lit hotel rooms…

Providing each other with…
Freedom from life’s tomb…

And much needed headspace…
Away from their oppressors…

Who held them under water…
Like unwitting aggressors…

Somehow forcing the issue…
Partly writing the script…

And as reality unravelled…
A pair of halos slipped…

Leading to something…
Maybe yes, maybe no…

Caught up in the moment…
Unexplainable from the go…

And they begin the next chapter…
Not knowing where it will end…

This strangest of stories…
About the strangest of friends…

    • Thank you – It’s an amazing song – was torn on the lyric to use as there was so many to chose – but the notion of dancing through the dark via hotel rooms was very vivid to me – glad you connected – heading your way soon! Cheers J
