“Damned if I don’t, Damned if I do, I’ve gotta get a fix on you”

Todays words, photo and music come – once again – from my wonderful guest writer Cate…

Doorstep:

Standing on the other side
Waiting
I’m there, but I am not
Wanting barriers gone
Scaring
I could knock from outside
Braving
My hand is poised
Shall I push for it all
Hovering
What’s in the inside
Tempting
It’s in my mind
Need the reflection too
Realising
It’s cold outside
Aching
Teasing mind plays tricks
Hope breeds desire
Imagining
Solid door that stands tall
Frightening
A chink of light perhaps
Warmth of a fire
Burning
I could be on your doorstep
Knocking
Taking chance to breathe again
Feel alive and live
Entering
