He kept his eyes wide open…
Each time that they kissed…
To make sure it was real…
And no detail was missed…
Or a single moment…
Of this unbelievable dream…
To remind him that it happened…
And she really was his queen…
Whose shimmering beauty…
Outshone all those around…
He couldn’t believe his luck…
At what he had found…
But this story had two sides…
And there was no escape…
Even if she’d wanted to…
There’s no route she could take…
As she was caught in his web…
And totally under his control…
Between a rock and a stone…
She couldn’t tell a soul…
Who would have believed her…
Her story was just fiction…
A total fantasy mixed with lies…
And an added erotic addiction…
But he knew where it was going…
And was clear what he wants…
Even if, in the midst of it all…
His guilty mind screams and haunts…
And reminded him constantly…
That this was just not right…
She didn’t belong to him…
But his conscience lost the fight…
As she now lies in front of him…
Staring blankly into space…
All hair and perfect make up…
No imperfections on her face…
In her dress, without her heels…
He laid her out on the bed…
Her heart no longer beating…
She now belongs to the dead…
And he’s stood there watching…
Like some twisted voyeur…
Feasting on his evil deed…
And silently hovering over her…
His victim number twelve…
His latest treasure, his prize…
Who now stares back at him…
With dull and lifeless eyes…
He kept her eyes open…
As he strangled her throat…
To make sure she watched…
So he could quietly gloat…
Loving every single moment…
Like he was in some sordid dream…
As he soaked in her final breath…
And her final muffled scream…

Very good writing and content! Thanks!
Oh shoot! This was good J, though dark but the imagination was great! I thought at first it was a happy, erotic ending LOL (forever romantic I am). Really, I was chuckling. What a twist! 😀
Such a creepy twisted interpretation of this song… Love it though 😉 Great work!
What a poetic –Sadistic–journey–a flow of words and blood–the bottom line–well done
I haven’t heard the song but I loved your story and will certainly look it up.

Fascinating and disturbing
Gosh.. I kind of knew where this was going but it was still a shock to see it written there. A brilliantly written story by the medium of poetry.. and you used one of my favourite songs. 🙂
