“To avoid complications, she never kept the same address”…

She’s feeling so reflective…
Lost in all her thoughts…
Her hearing is selective…
Her nerves a little fraught…
It’s all so very quiet…
Not yet the dead of night…
There’s no sign of a riot…
The sky has lost its light…

Her body feels so heavy…
Her eyes just want to close…
Inner voices sound so ghostly…
Her vicious demons are exposed…
Because he read her with his soul…
His fingers felt between her lines…
To the point she lost control…
And ignored the warning signs…

It floated around in her head…
And haunted whilst she was asleep…
In the real world she always misled…
But this time she was in too deep…
And on any other evening…
She may have walked away…
As anyone around could see…
The danger in their play…

They’d walked the razors edge…
And they did it just for fun…
But now she’s out there, on the ledge…
And it’s time for her to run…
And escape from this torment…
And to kill a man again…
This really has become too frequent…
But the only way she stays sane…

Like a Black widow spider…
She bound and tied him down…
Quietly drank his soul like cider…
Then buried him deep underground…
He’s the latest one to perish…
And to depart this cruel cold Earth…
She will keep the memory and cherish…
But he had absolutely no self-worth…

Now she’s feeling so reflective…
And lost in all her thoughts…
Knows she’ll deceive any detective…
Knows no charges will be brought…
And it’s gone so very quiet…
There’s not another soul in sight…
But she’s feeling very satisfied…
In her head, all this seems right…
