“Never worry what we leave behind”…

Holding_Hands

~

Take a walk with me…
Please just hold my hand…
Don’t need to say a word…
Or even understand…
Down bustling roads…
In the falling rain…
Just being next to you…
Begins to heal my pain…

A journey so very peaceful…
Detour through the park…
Past the surreal brides…
Yet wishing it was dark…
Where things are very different…
And confidence would grow…
To say the things I want to…
And quietly let you know…

Words I want to tell you…
Whilst we’re all alone…
In the middle of nowhere…
Where our faces are unknown…
And nobody around notices…
The wrong that feels so right…
When you and I are together…
And you hold my hand so tight…

Laughing like we are children…
About such stupid things…
Because in that stolen moment…
I feel like I have wings…
That enable me to take flight…
And carry you far away…
Beyond the mountain ranges…
To a place where night is day…

Where things are very different…
And we could, perhaps belong…
A place where I can see you…
And it’s not so very wrong…
But that is all a fantasy…
And here on Earth we live…
Where we simply don’t exist…
And people won’t forgive…

Or ever forget our faces…
As we lose ourselves totally…
  Entwined in such an embrace…
It fucks with our sanity…
So, please walk with me…
Please just hold my hand…
There’s no need for words…
In this private wonderland…

  1. Yay! A happy poem! (Sorry, couldn’t help myself ^^)
But this is just as beautiful as your creepy dramatic poems! I really love it! It’s so touching and true… Beautiful!
