“His arms are all around me and his tongue in my eyes…”

The invisible girl sits…
As life passes her by….
The invisible girl waits….
And hides beneath her eyes…
Wishing someone would notice…
Or give her a sign….
A soulmate accomplice…
Who loves her this time…
They hurt her before…
Abused in the past…
Her wounds are still sore…
  Became a total outcast…
Her confidence wrecked…
Dare not speak a word…
She can no longer connect…
To such a cruel world…
Where is her White knight…
The man of her dreams…
For her, he would fight…
Her faith he’d redeem…
For now she’s alone…
Afraid of what they all think…
Her heart turned to stone…
She escapes with a drink…
At night she can’t sleep…
Dark thoughts make her cry…
Haunting visions so deep…
  Tearstained, she whispered a lullaby…

One response to ““His arms are all around me and his tongue in my eyes…”
