“Have some sympathy, and some taste…”

This remote control is useless…
It won’t switch off the pain…
Eyes stare into blackness…
Searching through the rain…

Forever in a deep dark sleep…
The haunting visions spread…
Eternal sadness yours to keep…
You chose the path ahead…

A deal with the Devil…
Thought you were wise…
A deal with the Devil
Now your trapped in his lies…

The Anti Christ is dancing…
Feasting on your soul…
Deal you struck was binding…
He’s now in full control…

He feels your pent up anger…
He knows you want revenge…
Searching for an answer…
Mistakes you can’t avenge…

A deal with the Devil
You knew what that implied…
A deal with the Devil
Your soul his Golden prize…

Fear engulfs and isolates…
Rips your broken heart…
Eternal damnation now awaits…
Fallen angels tear you apart…

The wolves have started howling…
Won’t give you a head start…
Reality is now unravelling…
Your life is falling apart…

A deal with the Devil
Now you act with surprise…
A deal with the Devil
Never look in his eyes…

Now you regret your choice…
It felt right at the time…
Try to forget her voice…
It reminds you of your crime…

Bolt the door inside your mind…
Keep forever closed…
Afraid to let the others find…
Nightmares totally exposed…

A deal with the Devil
The serpent with snake eyes…
A deal with the Devil
Kneel before the lord of the flies…

Inspired by Blackhole  – A part 2 I suppose…

Well, there could by be one song to accompany todays post – The Rolling Stones: Sympathy for the Devil. I have put this up twice, once for the song, which is quite a stunning piece of music – but a second time as I found a clip on youtube that was quite captivating from 1969 – makes me feel quite sad that I never got to see this band in their heyday!

Enjoy…
